ZAKSYSTEMS PRESENTS
(In Association With Prof. Hary Parms)
- - - SCHMEGEGGI THE CAVEMAN ! - - -
Or... Jurassic Park - The Original
Welcome to the first of many (I hope!)
Zaksystems productions.
The aim is not to try and design some flashy
demo-style program nor a dull slideshow but
to give you entertaining graphic stories
presented in an easy-to-view format that
works on ALL Amigas, hence this particular
disk has a `no-frills` approach to veiwing to
make sure it will work on 1Mb-only machines.
No soundtrack is included as they all seem to
get very dull after a while. I`m sure you can
stick your Walkman on if you get desperate !
This story was written in 1989 by Harvey
Kurtzman and William Stout and makes quite an
apt first disk, I feel, what with all the
dinosaur-mania about at the moment !
Apologies for the dodgy lettering, bit of a
rush job ! If anyone out there has one or
some decent size 4 fonts I`d be very grateful
for `em !
CONTROLS
--------
To scroll the pages UP and DOWN use the UP
and DOWN keyboard arrows. To go to the NEXT
page or have another look at PREVIOUS pages
use the RIGHT or LEFT keyboard arrows
respectively.
Alternatively you can click any mouse button
on the control bar displayed for the desired
movement.
If you want to scroll extra fast then use the
mouse and keyboard together.
It don`t get much easier than that !
VAGUELY TECHIE BLAB
-------------------
All pictures were scanned onto a PC (yeuck)
using a Hewlett-Packard Scanjet II, converted
to GIF87a on my mates (Hary Parms) PC
(yeuck), ported to my A1200 (yeah!) using
Gifmachine and fiddled with for hours on end
with D-Paint AGA and many others. The
original pictures are 256 colours but I
wanted to get everything on one disk and also
not deny ANY Amiga user the chance to see
them so they are now only 32 colour.
Strangely enough the quality hasn`t suffered
much at all.
Display program written with AMOS - ain`t
these free coverdisks good ?
To copy the program to another disk it MUST
be accompanied by the `bar.o` file on this
disk. It will ONLY run from the disk you boot
from (SYS:). Please put this text file with
it !
AND LASTLY...
-------------
If you would like the original large 265
colour pictures please send one pound & 80p
to the address below (includes p&p and disk).
If you would like a slideshow of fantasy art
(ZAK2) please do as above stating if you want
256 colour or HAM6 (for non-1200 owners). The
next Zaksystems disk will be an 11 page dark
graphic story in b&w (recommended for mature
veiwers - so if you`re young, ask Dad first
!) available from September 1993 (ZAK3). Same
price as the above, order now and get it as
soon as it`s done ! Alternatively, get the
lot from your friendly discerning P.D. House
!
No orders taken after December 1993, and cash
only, sorry !
